В презентации примут участие редакторы Юлия Немировская и Анна Крушельницкая, несколько авторов, а также переводчики — Мария Блоштейн, Андрей Бураго, Яна Кане, Ричард Кумбс, Дмитрий Манин и Жозефина фон Цитцевиц. Они прочтут стихи в оригинале и в переводе на английский.

Presentation of “Dislocation”, an anthology of Russophone antiwar poetry
Join us for the presentation of “Dislocation”, an anthology of Russophone anti-war poetry, published in 2024 by Slavica Publishers at Indiana University. This is the second volume in a groundbreaking anti-war poetry anthology series.
This collection focuses on the war between Russia and Ukraine as seen by Russophone poets from all over the world. The writing is poignant, beautiful, and, in many cases, mordantly funny. This poetry both reflects and participates in a language and a literary culture that are riven by civilizational conflicts. The featured poems were sourced from Kopilka, a repository of contemporary antiwar poetry.
This is a bilingual—English and Russian—event. Editors Julia Nemirovskaya and Anna Krushelnitskaya, along with several authors and translators, will read original poetry and translations from “Dislocation”.
Peter Pomerantsev, in his endorsement of the volume, remarked: Poetry cannot provide answers to the great issues of war and murder that impel this book—but these pages do save and then reinvent the Russian language from which you can form them.
